Evan has represented clients with environmental issues before both federal and state trial and appellate courts and federal and state agencies. He has advised clients on permit requirements under the Clean Air Act and Clean Water Act, represented clients challenging federal and state agency permits, and counseled clients undertaking environmental remediation projects. He has also represented clients in regulatory takings litigation.
Evan also has significant appellate litigation experience. He has briefed critical issues for clients in state and federal trial and appellate courts throughout the country, including the United States Court of Appeals for the Second, Fifth, and Eleventh Circuits, and appellate courts in the states of Alabama, Georgia, Maryland, and New York.
